Delta Planning has helped client Hartford Homes to secure the 2 largest development allocations in a new Development Plan for the eastern region of the Isle of Man.
The success comes after 4 years of work making submissions to the emerging ‘Area Plan for the East’ including a month long public inquiry held in Autumn 2019. It involves 2 major sites on the edge of Douglas. One is for 300 houses and the other provides 60 acres of employment land. These two sites are by far the largest of the land allocations approved through the new Development Plan. Both sites offer high quality sustainable development and will help secure a supply of new homes and land for business needs over the next 5-10 years.
