Delta Planning has secured 2 major planning approvals for Birmingham City University (BCU) at its City Centre Campus in Eastside, Birmingham.
The first is an outline approval for up to 900,000 sq.ft of mixed teaching/office accommodation. The second is a full approval for a new 140,000sq.ft building. This will accommodate both teaching and office accommodation as well as Phase 2 of the University’s highly successful STEAM house project which supports innovation and research into business solutions within the arts, science, technology, engineering and maths sectors. The approval includes the restoration of the landmark Victorian Belmont Works factory building.
